The members of Fuxan os Ventos first came together in the early 1970's, which was the time when they started to create the soundtrack of Galicia's way to freedom. Since then, they have been an essential reference for Galician arts and culture. They were the music and lyrics of the enthusiastic process of recovering Galicia's identity. 40 years after, the show Terra de Soños brings Fuxan os Ventos back on stage, as a present to recall all that memories of hope and freedom, to give young people the chance of being part of a show like this, to restore the pillars of Galician roots music.

Terra de Soños brings us the Fuxan os Ventos we all remember. The show consists of a very popular setlist: A Carolina, Sementeira... and many other revolutionary songs. That is the singular thing about Fuxan os Ventos: they are still a reference for protest singers/songwritters, but they have also been very well know for singing the most popular Galician folk songs. Therefore, Terra de Soños brings us back some of the most popular songs from this country.

Fuxan os Ventos is still a main reference for present Galician musicians. Plus, their songs are recalled by people who lived that revolutionary times, and also by their sons: that 80's kids who listened to vinyl albums by Fuxan os Ventos on the very first home stereos or at open-air local celebrations. Fuxan os Ventos is for sure part of the Galician collective imagination, and that's why their comeback is so exciting for many. Although, we shouldn't forget that their songs are very contemporary too: they do fit conveniently with this convulsed beginning of the 21st Century.
